Who we are

Uploaded photos
Uploaded photos are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. They remain in your browser for the current session and are removed when you close or reload the page.
Text and settings
The text, colors, and layout choices you enter are processed in your browser to render previews and exports. We do not store them.
If you enter an email to unlock export, we use it to verify that a signup occurred, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and, in hashed form, for ad measurement. We keep your email for up to 30 days, then delete it. We do not add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails. We may occasionally contact a small number of users to invite them to optional product feedback sessions or user interviews. If you email us for support, your message and address stay in our inbox and are used only to respond. To have your email deleted sooner, contact us at support@fontstories.com.
Analytics and advertising
We use Amplitude to understand how the product is used - style choices, email unlocks, exports, sessions, page views, attribution, and return visits. We use the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance and optimize campaigns for signups. These tools may use cookies or local browser storage and may receive technical information such as your browser, device, page, referrer, and UTM campaign data.
Email matching
When you submit an email, we may use a hashed version of it for analytics identity and Meta ad measurement. We do not send raw email addresses to Amplitude. The Meta Pixel may hash email information in your browser for matching and attribution using Meta technology.
Browser storage
We may use local browser storage for simple preferences - whether export has been unlocked, export counts, last export date, analytics identifiers, and session measurement. You can clear this through your browser settings.
Third-party services
The page may load Google Fonts, Amplitude, the Meta Pixel, and image resources from third-party providers, which process requests under their own policies.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy, ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, and opt out of sharing of your personal information for advertising purposes, including our use of the Meta Pixel for ad measurement and optimization. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@fontstories.com; we will respond within a reasonable time and may ask you to verify your identity. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Children's privacy
FontStories is not directed to children under 13, or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@fontstories.com and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
